RINO WHITE-ER LIQUID (FLUORESCENT BRIGHTENING AGENT)

                          It have 33% active and 50% solid contents.

RINO WHITE-R liquid is a fluorescent brightening agent for polyester fibers. It gives brilliant whitening effect which has good fastness to sublimation, light and wet processing. It can be applied by high temperature exhaust or pad-thermo sol method and suitable for whitening effect on texturised polyester and polyester/cotton. It is available as non-ionic fluid dispersion greenish yellow in colour. The dispersion is miscible with water and can be diluted to any desired concentration by adding water to it. It is recommended to adjust ph of the bath between 4.5to5.5 as whitening effect may be reduced in extremely acidic or alkaline condition.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Exhaust Method:-
Preparation of dispersion      

The required amount of RINO WHITE-ER Liquid is weighed out and stirred with 20 times of its weight of soft water at room temperature. The required volumes are made up adding more soft water.

• High-Temperature Method.
• The bath is prepared with
• 0.1-0.35 % RINO WHITE-ER Liquid
• 1.0 g/l Suitable dispersing agent
• PH 4.5-5.5 with acetic acid
• Material to liquor ratio 1:10

The material is entered at about 50º C and the temperature is slowly raised to 115ºc-130ºc within 30 minutes. The treatment is continued at this temperature for about 30 minutes. The material is then washed in cold water and soaped at 60º-70º C for 10-15 minutes in 2-g/l. neutral detergents Pad-Thermosol Method : Padding:

The fabric is padded through a pad-liquor containing 2-5 g/l RINO WHITE-ER Liquid at room temperature keeping 60-70% expression. The padded fabric is dried at approximately 120º C.

Fixation

The fixation condition depends on fabric construction. Heavy or densely woven fabric requires higher fixation temperature or longer fixation time than lighter fabric with open weave. However, following fixation condition may be taken as general recommendation:

• For normal polyester & polyester / cotton: 185º - 200º C. for 30 seconds.

• For Texturised Polyester: 170º - 180ºC.for 30 seconds.

• The thermo fixed material may be given rinsing and light soaping treatment with 2g/l neutral detergent at 60º - 70º C. for 10 -15 minutes.

NOTE: The recommendations are based on laboratory experiments and to be considered as guidelines only. For bulk production. It is necessary to carry out small-scale trails to conform to local conditions

The fastness properties were tested on polyester with 5g/l RINO WHITE-ER liquid by pad Thermosol method. The figures give the information on change in whiteness.

The  formula given below is generally used as per weight of fabrics.

·        Lab % x Quality X Taka (pieces)  /100

Suppose you have 8 kg quality and 24 pieces and using our highly concentrated whitening agent RINO WHITE-ER then for super white fabric the formula will work like this.

·        0.15 % x 8 x 24 =28.8 /100 = 288 grams.

NOTE: Quantity would depend on the nature of whiteness required.

STORAGE AND HANDLING

• ·        Store in cool and dry place

• ·        Avoid storing in direct sunlight

• ·        The shelf life of RINO WHITE-ER liquid is 6 month, if stores below 30 °C

• ·        The usual storage, handling and safety precaution should be observed.

•       Shake well before use.
