SILKSOFT - 500 is unique modified micro amino silicone having reactive amino alkyl group present on linear polydimethyl siloxane. SILKSOFT - 500 gives excellent durable surface softness and internal softness along with lubricity to cotton, polyester, acrylic and their blends for woven and knitted fabrics.

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS :

APPEARANCE: Colourless to pale yellow, clear to slight translucent liquid.

pH: 5 to 6.

DILUENT: Water.

COMPATIBILITY: Compatible with non ionic and cationic.

SALIENT FEATURES :

SILKSOFT - 500 gives unique surface softness of and internal softness to all kinds of fabrics.

It gives crease resistance and abrasion resistance.

It does not affect the fastness property of dyed goods.

It is easily soluble in water and easy to handle.

APPLICATION :

SILKSOFT - 500 is mostly used in padding method but it is also used in exhaust method.

Padding Method : 3 to 7.5gpl. is recommended in the padding bath depending on type of fabric and softness required followed by drying a curing at 150 to 180oC for 45 seconds.

Exhaustion Method : 0.3 to 0.5% owf. is recommended for 20 to 30 min. at R.T. followed by drying and curing.
