STAINOL-RX is a highly concentrated solvent-based emulsifying, stain removing and wetting
agent. It is recommended for scouring and especially for stain removing process of all fibers. It removes all
hydrophobic and oily impurities from fabrics. This is very much suitable for
the Degumming of silk.

Advantages:
- It regulates the scouring and bleaching
processes in both the alkaline and acid mediums
- It removes the occluded oils, soil
particles, metal particles, different types of stains, sizes and other unwanted
impurities very effectively.
- It reduces the consumption of alkali
and detergents.
- It increases the absorbency.
- It helps in stabilizing the reducing as
well as the oxidizing products employed as bleaching agents in the scouring
bath.
APPLICATIONS: 1.0% TO 1.5 % OF STAINOL-RX
How
to use:
· Apply
0.75 % STAINOL-RX With hydro and caustic soda at 125 °C for 30 minutes.
· For Desizing apply 1% of STAINOL-RX with Hydro
and caustic soda. 0.2 GPL Non-ionic detergents are suggested with above said.
· After
scouring drain the bath. Take fresh water to neutralize the fabric or yarn with
applying 0.5% of STAINOL-RX with required Acid at 85 °C for 20 minutes. 0.2 GPL Non-ionic detergent is suggested
with above said. This will give a very satisfactory result.
For
swelling:
To swell the fabric or yarn 4 to 5 GPL
of STAINOL-RX is recommended.
For
Degumming of silk:
- Apply 1 GPL Caustic soda with 2gpl STAINOL-RX
AT 90°C FOR 30 TO 40 MINUTES.
OR
- Apply 3 GPL soda ash with 2gpl STAINOL-RX at
90°C for 30 to 40 minutes. Acidify with oxalic acid.
- Use
of STAINOL-RX will increase the tear strength of silk fabric/yarn
